Philip Roberto, M.Ed.

     Mr. Roberto is currently in his sixth year of teaching, five which have been spent at Carver. He teaches art and art history. He has also taught humanities and yearbook for five years. In addition to his teaching duties he also has a great passion for and runs an extremely successful school backpacking club that is currently in its fourth year. He also plans and creates the master schedule and helps trouble shoot scheduling problems. Mr Roberto has earned a Bachelor’s of Art in Studio Art from California State University of Sacramento, a Single Subject Teaching Credential from National University, and a Masters of Education in Multi-Cultural Education from National University. He has also been attending trainings in Waldorf Education at Rudolph Steiner College for three years running and has been doing training on Green Woodworking with the Ruskin Mill School in England.
